General Conference for me equated to this: Prophet and Apostles speaking from Salt Lake + 1 Luvsac + cinnamon rolls = 1 happy Zanzi!
The Hale Center Theater was putting on the musical Hello Dolly, and a friend who had an extra ticket, asked if I wanted to go. She only had to wait the amount of time it took me to type, "Yes!" in the returning text to know my answer. The 1969 film staring Barbra Streisand as the widow, Dolly Levi, is among my all time favorites!
If you've seen the movie, Wall-E, you've heard this song from the musical.
The town comes together to sing that there is "no blue Monday in your Sunday clothes". Thanks to General Conference, and being able to stream my church via the internet, this was my Sunday clothes:
